HAPPY CNY/ GONG XI FA CAI
hello and belated happy cny to all of you here in southeast asia.....
had a great party this 3rd day of cny and went out to a couple of good ones too.

just got back from Pataya,Th. and bangkok. not bad all in all, place still polluted with traffic and bad air too......still i wonder what the place will be like without the toot toots??? yah, they say they want to outlaw them becos of the danger they pose to the passengers! probally the danger to tourists, they dun care about there own ppl. didn't hear they want to ban the girly bars!! i went to a show and the same ole tricks, the darts the pingpong balls...... fucking ppl working all hours of the nite tooo! the poor working conditions for those slogging away 12++ hrs a day, they will put their little girls to sleep on the sidewalk at midnite with a cup next to her for spare change. I guess we shud all see this kind of place to realize how good we have it....what a cruel world we live in. shame shame on the governments of countries like this. im no mathmatician but i know if you spread around the wealth people dun have to live like this....shit,shit, shit!
what about human nature tooo, got ppl struggling away, down and out and then come alone tourists and barter and barter them down till u get an item next to nothing! whats with us? NO SHIT! im guilty of it too , i know. U see that the man or woman or even kids selling their wares are living in shit and still got ppl getting the price lower and lower. what if these ppl dun got any education and cannot tell when they go down too cheap and even lose more money???? Remember this next time! we all use the bullshit expression "its my rice bowl you know" .... we say this anytime ppl try to get us down too much. but what the hell, at least we know when too much is, that poor fellow over there may not be able to tell one. to be continued

Thanks for commenting. On residential leases, we get 1 month's rent, paid by the seller, which we have to split with the other agent if there is one. On sales, we get 6% total, but we have to split that with the other agent as well, so it is usually somewhat less than 3% per transaction. And homes in TX don't sell for anywhere near 500K-1mil. It's more like 100K-200K.

Remember what Abraham Lincoln said: "People get about as good a government as they are willing to put up with". Don't blame the governments - blame the people for not doing something about it.
